JEFF HANDLIN

Jeff Handlin is a community developer, housing advocate (#housingforall), and experienced university board member.  Handlin founded and serves as President of Oread Capital & Development, a Denver-based company that has acquired, developed and managed some of the largest and most successful mixed-use master planned communities in the Denver-Boulder area. He also founded and serves as Chairperson of Urban Cottages, focusing on developing infill housing in backyards, side-yards and other ubiquitous spaces within urban and near-urban neighborhoods. Education is a personal passion for Jeff. He taught for six years as an adjunct professor at The Daniels College of Business at The University of Denver, and now serves on DU’s Burns Real Estate School Advisory Board. At the University of Kansas, Jeff has served on the Boards of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and Honors College.
