Mary Young has represented the 50th district of the Colorado House of Representatives, based in Greeley, since 2019. Mary has served her community  as a psychologist, and special education teacher.  Mary earned her Ph.D in school psychology at the University of Northern Colorado.

Recently, Mary led the passage of a landmark bill, HB24-1231, that provided funding for a new college of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Northern Colorado.
